Features like Ultra-wide screen support, Nvidia DLSS, an FOV slider and more are also confirmed for PC. Installation space required is 36 GB.

Remedy Entertainment has dropped a new FAQ for Alan Wake Remastered, detailing the performance and resolution of its various console versions along with confirming free previous to current gen upgrades. It also confirmed a Day 1 patch for the game that would enhance the cinematics along with a “few other bits and pieces.” No other paid content is currently being planned.

PC specific features were also revealed such as Ultra-wide screen support (though pre-rendered cutscenes will still be 16:9), Nvidia DLSS (which supports Quality, Performance, Balanced and Ultra-Performance settings) and settings like an FOV Slider, and HBAO+ Nvidia Ambient Occlusion technology. As for the requirements, an Intel Core i5-3340, Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 (or AMD equivalent) with 2 GB VRAM and 8 GB RAM is the minimum.

Recommended requirements include a Core i7-3770, GeForce GTX 1060 (or AMD equivalent) with 4 GB VRAM and 16 GB RAM. Installation space needed is approximately 36 GB. Alan Wake Remastered releases on October 5th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
